Pat Robertson. This man was once a presidential candidate.

Wow! So the reason the earthquake happened was because Haiti made a deal with the devil? That is ridiculous. I can't believe Robertson would tell this story and then ask for everyone to pray for them while they go through this tragedy. That's crazy.
What a moron. It really bothers me that he claims the economic and natural disasters in Haiti happened because the Haitians made a deal with the devil. Then, instead of encouraging people to help with the aid effort, he suggests solely prayer.
Oh my Lord! This man is a looney! If he thinks that devil answered these people...haha, that's what the problem is. And that lady just nodding and agreeing? She has to know that these people are struggling because they just had a huge-ass storm tear through a couple years ago and are still trying to re-build from that. The point of The DR and Haiti being on the same island is nonsense. Haitians live off less than $2 a day, while The Dominican Republic adopted a more liberal economic mode and is becoming a prospering country.
Blame the devil if you want, but not the people. geez.
Made a deal with the devil? That's funny maybe he didn't have anything to say and had to fill air time. He should have said let us pray for the people of Haiti or let's have a moment of silence.

And this is why people make fun of Christians. Because crazy men like Pat Robertson are given air time. Talk about the Kanye West of Christianity!

Why couldn’t he have just said that we need to pray and help the people in Haiti?

I cannot even begin to comprehend why someone would say something like that about a people who have just experienced a tragedy.
